I'm currently using a Touch with a pair of digital monitors and a
digital subwoofer. Has anyone done comparisons of the sound quality of
the digital outputs of the Touch and the Transporter?

Thanks and regards,
Nicholas

The Transporter has HQ isolation transformers in the BNC and coax output
to prevent ground problems as long you don't connect the wordclock.
Both devices should have good enough speced exits not to wurry about.

Transporter (modded) -> RG142 -> Avantgarde Acoustic based 500VA
monoblocks -> Sommer SPK240 -> self-made speakers

I've tried all the digital outs on the touch and heard no difference, so
I settled back to the optical because I like the idea of not dealing
with potential power noise.
