why measurements won't be able to explain differences in sound quality?

The bass was boomy so it may be better for home theater type use.
There was no shortage of volume on the low frequency bass
notes. By going Mach 3, it might increase the clarity, as more is
always bettter. Right!?

Clarification: when one speaks of high end audio being "supersonic" they
are actually referring to the speed of the money leaving one's wallet.

No one mentioned whether this supersonic event was coming towards them,
which would have "blue shifted" the music, or going away from them,
which would have "red shifted" the music.
