Would it be possible to disable WiFi in SBT as I am using ethernet. I
have EDO installed and I do not want to use TT3.0 to disable WiFi. Any
alternatives?. I am under the assumption disabling WiFi would improve
sound quality.

You can turn it off by ssh-ing into the touch, and doing "iwconfig wlan0
txpower off". That is not a permanent setting, but it allows you to
compare the sound with and without sound. If you really hear a
difference, under blind listening conditions, you can make it permanent
by editing /etc/init.d/rc5.local.

I am pretty sure there is no difference in sound, and if there is, it
wouldn't be a continuous change, but an occasional blip, as the Touch
does (according to John Swenson) turn off the wireless when not in use,
but it wakes up occasionally to check for network traffic.

"To try to judge the real from the false will always be hard. In this
fast-growing art of 'high fidelity' the quackery will bear a solid gilt
edge that will fool many people" - Paul W Klipsch, 1953

Thanks Julf, will try it to see the difference.
