Not sure - I think the hipster crowd are more into walkmans and
ghettoblasters...

They obviously haven't seen the RX-505 - lotso of knobs button controls
and a autoreverse mechanism which flipped the cassette.

Check out the Elcaset for those where size matters.
Don't remind me - still angry at myself for getting rid of my Elcaset
deck and 25 cassettes...

I see that presumably NOS compact cassette audio tapes are selling on
eBay for something like their historic prices.

I guess that the usual suspects need to start writing impassioned pseudo
technical articles about the purported SQ advantages of compact
cassettes.

Ohh, ohh, and I want to be the first one to market with quantum-aligning
head cleaner spray. You won't believe the increase in air and pace, and
everything!! Just $59.99 for the V grade spray, that aligns only
vertical quanta to increase depth of field and imaging accuracy. $79.99
for the VH grade, that also aligns the horizontal quanta for a more
emotionally involving presentation. And $109.99 for VHD grade that which
also controls those potentially damaging diagonal quanta that lead to
listener fatigue and those annoying thoughts that maybe you should be
doing something else with your time and money....

Reviewers: please contact me for samples and suggested review
topics/conclusions.

What about dinner reservations?

Remember the better the steak and the wine - the better the review :)

Plus the inside back or front cover of the next issue is still available
- remember the bigger the advertisement the better the review :)

My problem has always been that I am easily confused when it comes to
who is supposed to 'service' whom...but jewelry and/or fine watches are
always nice!

I have a Sony ES deck that could make a cassette that was just about as
good as the source CD.

It served great purpose while Avis caught up with technology..

Seriously, let's dispense with the cassette, 8-track, elcaset, TEAC
"open reel", PlayTape, RCA Sound Tape, Dictabelt, etc... foreplay.

What the -serious -retro audiophile needs is some Edison Wax Cylinder
ecstasy:

Featuring infinite resolution (it is analogue after all!), you can't go
wrong! Just watch out for the mold though...
