made a small change to my 2nd system
(http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?41527-A-Photo-of-your-Transporter-setup-Please!&p=822445&viewfull=1#post822445)
which occasioned the new pics, and was surprised by the sonic
transformation, which was unexpected.

some years back I bought one of these Belkin power conditioners:
http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00064NXIG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

i don't remember what i paid for it, ~$350 if memory serves. it mostly
did its job well, although i never liked the sound of the Primare amp
when it was plugged into the Belkin, so i always plugged the amp
directly into the wall. it's been in the current setup for ~ a year,
but i never liked the way it looked on that stand, which forced me to
stack the meridian and transporter. so, last week i replaced it with a
Furman power strip:

http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009GI7NC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

for which i paid ~$91.96. you can't see it in the pics, but everything,
including the primare amp is plugged into it. big change sonically,
much punchier, more dynamic, increased slam, if you will.

i may buy another for my main rig.

Or a $15 X10 power filter.

Oh, I guess $15 was just to cheap to be audiophile, so my suggestion
clearly was taken to be sarcasm... (it wasn't, but this comment is).
