[SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Lost jumper plate/strap for my Cerwin Vega xls 215s- advice please !

Hello

We have just moved house and during the move it appears one of the
jumper straps of my beloved Cerwin Vega xls 215s got lost.

I have contacted Cerwin Vega & Focusrite (their UK distributer) but this
has been unsuccessful so far.

As a workaround until I can get a replacement, can I just jump the
speaker terminals with something else e.g. wire etc. ?

Or are there standard sizes for these jumper straps so try and source
replacements from elsewhere ?

any bit of wire will do (2 core 3 or 5 amp)

I use a pair of these (copper) on one of my speaker sets.

Yup. Those Cardas jumpers look pretty.

But any short length of speaker cable will do... Maybe just some 12G
wire.

Yup. Those Cardas jumpers look pretty.

wire.

A piece of even just 18-24 gauge will work because the length is so
short. Strip the paint off of a piece of wire cut from a coat-hanger. If
you want a flat strap, cut one from a side of a tin can using heavy
shears.
